“ We were very stressed about finding the right person to do our evaluation as it was our first year having to do so. Finding Mrs. Bakers info was truly a blessing! Her website made scheduling the meeting completely hassle free and my daughter loved having her evaluation! I have recommended Ginger to other families knowing that they’ll enjoy their experience during evaluation time, which could otherwise be unnecessarily stressful! ”

Our Story

Eval Gal was founded by educator Ginger Baker-Sanhueza.  She created Eval Gal after being confronted by a parent who was frustrated by the Homeschool Evaluation process and tired of finding intimidating and expensive evaluators.  Mrs. Baker-Sanhueza thought it could all be much simpler, starting with a focus on the student and, well, showing kindness towards them and their parents.  As a teacher, Mrs. Baker-Sanhueza knows first hand how hard it is to prepare and plan lessons.  She wanted to celebrate the homeschooling process and the successes of every student and parent, and thus, Eval Gal was born.
Mrs. Baker-Sanhueza started doing Homeschool Evaluations in 2017 and loves doing them!  She adores getting to know each student and discussing what they have learned. It lights up her life to see them excited about their learning and it is her goal to make them feel accomplished and proud of what they have done.  She encourages their growth and progress and gladly supports parents in how THEY choose to teach their children.   She is very much looking forward to getting to know your child through their work and talk to them in a fun online video chat.

About Our Founder:
Ginger Baker-Sanhueza has been teaching since 2006 with a degree in Spanish Education, certified to teach K-12, from Georgia Southern University.  She enjoys spending time outdoors at the beach, boating, or fishing with her husband and 2 children.  Her family’s passion for nature and water led to starting the Sol Margin Fishing and Conservation Foundation.  It is a non-profit that aims to educate the community and fellow anglers about habitat and wildlife conservation through safe angling practices.  Through this foundation she has been able to interact socially with many homeschool students and families as they engage with nature at various events.  Feel free to check out their foundation’s site at www.solmarginfishing.org.  When she’s not outside or by the water, she can be found cheering on the Florida Gators in a house-divided (her husband is a Bama fan) or baking a sweet treat.
